Sick of their old lives in Boise, Idaho, David and his family moved to South Park, Colorado upon the opening of a new Whole Foods store - these Mexicans were actually staying, and soon opened a restaraunt, Nueva Familia, where David was a busboy. He joined South Park Elementary as a new kid soon as well, and forged a rivalry with Yelp critic Eric Cartman, who didn't approve of his family's restaurant. He was later accidentally shot during a game of ninja by a very distracted Officer Barbrady, ending his tenure as a police officer.

-David Rodriguez is a 4th grader at South Park Elementary. He made cameos in the first 3 episodes (His mom was one of the pregnant Mexican women in [[Stunning and Brave]]), but he debuted as a character in the fourth episode, [[You're Not Yelping]]. His parents own a Mexican restaurant in South Park, and [[Cartman]] used that to his advantage to make David be Cartman's servant, or busboy.
