Story
Description
Chef wants more excitement in his life, so he leaves town to join an organization called the Super Adventure Club. But when he returns to South Park after a three-month absence, something about him seems . . . different.
To be more specific, he keeps propositioning all the kids for sex. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny visit the headquarters of the Super Adventure Club to see if its members can account for Chef's strange behavior. After an enthusiastic presentation by the group's leader, William P. Phineas, they learn that the club travels the world, having adventures and -- molesting children. Its leader even tries to hypnotize the boys, leading them to believe they did the same thing [successfully] to Chef.
The boys take their friend to a psychiatrist, who officially declares Chef "brainwashed." In an effort to get Chef back to normal, he and the boys visit a strip club. But just as the strip club "therapy" begins to work on Chef, he's knocked out and kidnapped by the Super Adventure Club.
The boys follow them back to their headquarters, where they are held at gun point and told the history of the organization and the reason for its beliefs. The group thinks that children have particles called "marlocs" in their bodies, and that when adults have sex with them, these "marlocs" release energy that grant the child molesters immortality.
The boys manage to evade the Super Adventure Club members, rescue Chef, and make a break for it. But as they cross the rope bridge to freedom, the Super Adventure Club's leader convinces Chef to turn back. Just then, lightning strikes -- cutting the bridge in half and sending Chef plummeting into a ravine where he's impaled on a tree stump. He's then attacked by a mountain lion and a grizzly bear.
A Super Adventure Club member tries to kill the mountain lion with a high-powered rifle, but hits Chef instead. By the time the carnage ends, Chef is disemboweled and skinned. Cartman, uncharacteristically optimistic, says that perhaps he isn't dead, because people always crap themselves when they die. But no sooner does Cartman finish speaking than the corpse does, indeed, soil himself.
Chef is honored during an extremely well-attended memorial service in South Park. Most agree with Kyle's assertion that they should remember the man he once was, not what that "fruity little club" turned him into.
But the Super Adventure Club isn't quite done. Back at their headquarters, the reanimated remains of Chef have been turned into an armor-clad cybernetic monster: Darth Chef. And he definitely, positively, still wants to molest children.
What I Learned Today
"We're all here today because Chef has been such an important part of our lives. A lot of us don't agree with the choices Chef has made in the past few days. Some of us feel hurt and confused that he seemed to turn his back on us. But we can't let the events of the last week take away the memories of how much Chef made us smile. I'm gonna remember Chef as the jolly old guy who always broke into song. I'm gonna remember Chef as the guy who gave us advice to live by. So you see, we shouldn't be mad at Chef for leaving us. We should be mad at that little fruity club for scrambling his brains."

Characters
Character Debuts
The Super Adventure Club makes its child-molesting debut. At its head is William P. Connelly, esquire -- the Head Adventurer. We also meet Detective Jarvis and Robert J. Neeland, the psychiatrist.
More importantly, the cybernetic monstrosity Darth Chef is revealed, complete with a glowing light-saber-esque spatula and a thirst for naked children. He hasn't been seen since.
Character Departures
Chef. He's burned, dropped down a cliff, impaled, shot, and then torn limb-from-limb by a grizzly bear AND a mountain lion.

Shout Outs
Darth Chef's voice was provided by Peter Serafinowicz, who voiced Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. His black, armor-clad costume is an obvious nod to Darth Vader. When the leader of the Super Adventure Club launches into a preposterous explanation of why molesting children causes immortality, the words "This is what the Super Adventure Club actually believes" appear on the bottom of the screen. It references the Scientology creation story laid out in "Trapped in the Closet" , which was so preposterous Trey and Matt felt they needed to run the sentence "This is what Scientologists actually believe" beneath it.
Bonus Factoids
Pointless Observations
Chef's funeral is attended by, among a great many others, Terrance and Phillip, Elton John (whom Chef helped to stardom in Season Two's "Chef Aid") and Kathie Lee Gifford, with whom he had sex in Season One's "Weight Gain 4000."
This episode starts with "Previously on South Park," but there was no actual previous episode. This was a device used to give the audience a good amount of backstory before the episode started. What we're seeing is supposedly Part Two of Life Without Chef.
When Detective Jarvis asks the boys if Chef ever touched them in their no-no places, Butters excitedly says, "My Uncle Bud did that to me once!" We met his Uncle Bud briefly in "AWESOM-O".
It should be clarified that the "Adventure Club" goes around the world exploring, hunting and kayaking, while the "Super Adventure Club" goes around the world having sex with children.
The boys take Chef to The Peppermint Hippo, a seedy strip club last seen in "Lil' Crime Stoppers" . Many of the strippers are the same as before -- except for Spontaneous Bootay, the large, large black woman so bootylicious that she's able to momentarily break Chef's brainwashing.
Kenny displays a special ninja-ability with his "Spin Blossom Nut Squash!" which he uses to crush a S.A.C. guy's balls.
