About
Laura Tucker is Craig's adoring mother and Thomas Tucker's wife. While she can be stern at times, and their family is probably best known for their love of flipping the bird, she and her husband still care deeply about their son and daughter. While she often tries to be patient and understanding, she can have a low tolerance for personal offenses and freudian slips.
Thomas and Laura have often been depicted as a relatively loving couple, with a supportive and stable marriage, even when the other men in town were making fun of her relentlessly. When TrollTrace came online, however, it was revealed that Thomas had a history of infidelity, and an angry Laura vented to Sheila Broflovski, urging to look up her own husband's past. She was later seen reconciling with Thomas, and they remain married.
She became world famous when three totally unknown individuals leaked a video of her undressing that showcased a thick "bush" of pubic hair that shocked audiences worldwide, and managed to clock three hundred million views. Laura tried to make an appearance on national television to speak out against the ensuing drone crisis and speak out on privacy issues, and according to the Minstrel, she bravely using said bush to fly and lead the drones away.

Temperament
Laura lacks her so nor other family members' anger or apathy, and instead is generally fine keeping to herself. When someone causes an offense against her family, or happens to mention her notorious bush, she'll be anything but calm and collected.
Stubbornness
On the occasions when Laura does speak out, she is never willing to back down too easily, and is determined to make sure her voice is heard. Even when the entire town seemed to turn against her and her husband, she came forward on the news to discuss the recent influx of further drones into the town.

Laura Tucker is an extremely tall woman with white, Caucasian skin and is somewhat slim for a woman her age. She has long blonde hair roughly shoulder-length, with the bangs parted in the middle and fringes by her ears. She typically wears a green buttoned dress white a white belt around the waist. More recently, she has often been seen wearing a pearl necklace, with a green T-shirt and a darker green dress with a white flower pattern.
According to Jimmy Valmer and newspeople alike, she should probably invest in some Hedge Clippers, though she and her husband disagree.

Laura has occasionally been depicted in other outfits in the series, such as formal wear.
Family
Although the Tuckers may argue sometimes, when things are rough, they stick together and show that they care about each other. Laura seems to have a particularly caring relationship with her son, Craig, defending him from the other parents, and they shop together at Whole Foods. Her relationship with her husband often seems loving, especially when their children and privacy are concerned, but they have a number of differences, and appeared upset when Thomas did not approve of Craig's sexuality.
When TrollTrace was online, Laura discovered that her husband was committing infidelities and using married-but-dating sites, but shortly later, they appeared to smile at one another, and remain married.
Close Friends
While Laura is not known to be especially close with anyone outside her family, she seems to maintain friendships with the other parents in town.
Rivals
Although Laura does not seem to have any specific rivalries, she was shown to resent the other parents characterizing her son as a troublemaker and similarly resented the town's men making fun of the scale of her pubic hair after it was exposed in leaked video. More recently, she was offended when Stephen Stotch characterized her as a "blabbermouth".
Residence
The Tuckers live in a relatively standard home in South Park, down the street as neighobrs to the Donovan Residence, and their children are friendly. They appear to be a low-income family, however, as they are shown collecting welfare in "Here Comes the Neighborhood".
Employer
Laura works as a bank teller at the South Park Bank on Main Street, alongside Benny the Banker.

Video Games
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Although Laura does not appear directly in the game, Butters greets "Laura" and Benny when entering the bank, with the latter indicating Benny the Banker. This was assumed to be an unknown or background character at the time.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
In the second game, Laura is depicted in the same bank as a teller, alongside Benny the Banker and some unknown tellers. Her voice fluctuates a little between her older and newer voices. She will selfie with the player once they settle Tweek and Craig's differences.
Behind the Scenes
In her first appearance in season 3's "Tweek Vs. Craig", she was was voiced by Mary Kay Bergman, who voiced nearly all of South Park's recurring female characters at that time. Bergman gave her a nasaly voice similar to her son.
Although the character continued to appear in the background alongside the other parents, she did not speak again for several years until briefly in season 10's "Smug Alert!", when she was given a different voice. In many of these older episodes, from the side, she was depicted without sleeves.
She and her husband were granted upgraded designs in season 12's "Pandemic", in which her son played a prominent role. The main boys' mothers approach the Tuckers for information on their missing kids and devolve into a discussion over whether or not Craig is a bad influence. In this episode, she again had a nasaly voice, supplied by Mona Marshall.
Thomas and Laura were re-introduced as recurring characters in season 18's "The Magic Bush", with both of their voices altered to a higher pitch, and Elise Gabriel taking over as Laura's voice actress, in addition to a new design and outfit, including a pearl necklace and a dark green skirt.
In season 19's "Stunning and Brave", an updated version of her original design was introduced in the background, featuring her same look from the previous season, but with an updated version of her buttoned dress. While this outfit was visually prominent in "Tweek x Craig", the previous design has generally been favored in the meantime, and she has switched between both freely, even within moments in the same episode!
Her voice has continued to fluctuate, sounding nasaly again in "Not Funny" but back to Gabriel's usual voice for her in the following episode. Lines from both versions of her voice can be heard in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
Bonus Factoids
- For most of the series, Laura was the tallest recurring female character on the show. Her more recent designs have made her a bit shorter.
- Her original character model was re-used for Billy Circlovich's Mom in "The Tooth Fairy's Tats 2000".
Myths & Legends
- Craig's father has red hair and his mother is blonde, but Craig has always been depicted with dark hair - brown in "The Losing Edge" and black in most other instances. Since neither child has blonde hair, some fans speculate that Laura's blonde hair is dyed.
- We still don't know for sure if the carpet matches the drapes.
