About
An emotionally (and psychologically) fragile woman, Linda Stotch is Butters' mother and a native Hawaiian. She is often submissive to her husband, doing household chores and cleaning, though she does works an engineer outside of the house as well. She usually hangs around with the other mothers and women of South Park, but they aren't all so fond of her - Stan's Mom says she's a gossip, and according to Theresa on The Real Housewives of New Jersey she has yellow teeth.
She and her husband raise their son sternly, and neither is afraid to ground him for stunts like making silly faces for school pictures or putting balls on his chin. They also aren't afraid to march right home and physically abuse him. She is shown to care about his son when she believes he's missing or dead, but reverts to her ways upon his return. She's also had psychotic episodes, on one occasion going as far as to attempt to kill Butters and herself because her husband was a closeted homosexual.
